For many years, Joe Danno’s Bucket O’Suds was the
hangout of choice for visiting rock ‘n roll artists and jazz musicians. The attraction was Joe Danno himself, known as the “Jazz Philosopher,” a former trumpeter of note himself, whose cool and personable demeanor established the Bucket O’Suds as a venerable Chicago icon.
